Day 1: DEPART U.S.A.

Depart Pensacola International Airport on an overnight flight to Dublin. Dinner and breakfast will be served on the plane. Quotes for add-on flights from different airports, as well as optional Premium Economy and Business Class upgrades, are available upon request and will be provided starting 120 days prior to departure. Group air restrictions (for ten passengers traveling together) do not permit specific seating requests on flights. We recommend purchasing your own airline tickets and land-only packages with us if seat confirmation is an important part of your trip. Day 2: WELCOME TO IRELAND: THE LAND OF SAINTS AND SPIRITS

Location: Armagh, UK

Upon arrival at Dublin Airport, our guide greets us and assists us to our motorcoach. We depart Dublin, driving to the Hill of Slane, in the magnificent Boyne Valley, where St. Patrick lit a Paschal fire to celebrate Easter. We also see Monasterboice, an early Christian settlement with a round tower and some of Ireland’s most famous High Crosses. Continue to Armagh, where we see two St. Patrick’s churches, which sit opposite each other—one Catholic and one Protestant. We celebrate Mass at the Catholic Church and may even have a chance to meet members of the local Catholic community. Settle into our hotel in the Armagh area for dinner and an overnight stay. (D)

Day 3: DOWNPATRICK – ST. PATRICK’S COUNTRY

Location: County Mayo, Ireland

Today, we visit St. Patrick’s Center, where we learn about the life of St. Patrick. Nearby is the Church of Ireland Down Cathedral, where the burial sites of three saints are located: St. Patrick, St. Brigid, and St. Columba. Following Mass, we drive to County Mayo. En route, we may even see one of the Holy Wells, which are so prominent in Ireland. Settle into our hotel. Tonight, enjoy time at leisure in Westport for dinner at one of the many pubs the city is known for. Be sure to meet the locals as you listen to Irish music and enjoy a pint. Overnight in County Mayo. (B)

Day 4: A VISIT TO OUR LADY OF KNOCK

Location: Knock, County Mayo, Ireland

After breakfast, we travel to Knock, Ireland’s national Marian Shrine. On the 21st of August, 1879, Our Lady, St. Joseph, and St. John the Evangelist appeared at the south gable of Knock Parish Church. Fifteen people, young and old, witnessed this apparition. From this miraculous occurrence, Knock has grown to an internationally recognized Marian Shrine. The personal pilgrimage of Pope John Paul II in 1979, commemorating the centenary of the apparition, inspired an even greater devotion to the Shrine and endorsed the indelible seal of Vatican approval. Mass will be celebrated. Dinner and overnight in County Mayo. (B.D)

Day 5: CROAGH PATRICK – KYLEMORE ABBEY – GALWAY

Location: Kylemore Abbey, Kylemore, County Galway, Ireland

Following a delightful Irish breakfast, we drive to Croagh Patrick, the Holy Mountain, where St. Patrick climbed, where he spent 40 days praying and fasting. Today, we say a prayer at the foot of the mountain before continuing through the Connemara region of Ireland to Kylemore Abbey. We celebrate Mass at the Abbey Church, enjoy lunch, and a visit of the grounds and the gift shop. Arriving in Galway, we settle into our hotel and walk into Galway to experience the amazing music and pub life this town is known for. Dinner is at leisure in Galway. (B)

Day 6: GALWAY – THE BURREN – CLIFFS OF MOHER – CORK

Location: Cliffs of Moher, County Clare, Ireland

We celebrate Mass in Galway this morning. We then head out of the city, driving south along the coastline toward the famous Cliffs of Moher. We travel through the ancient burial grounds and unique countryside of the Burren before arriving at the Cliffs of Moher, where we will have time to hike along the cliff trails, relax, read poetry, and enjoy other activities. In the late afternoon, we continue south to Cork—the home of Nano Nagle and, in a real way, the reason we were blessed with Sr. Margaret. We’ll check into our hotel and kick off a joyful evening with dinner alongside Sr. Margaret, swapping stories, laughs, and school memories from her 40+ years at St. Patrick Catholic School. Overnight in Cork. (B.D)

Day 7: CORK – NANO NAGLE HERITAGE DAY – SR. MARGARET

Location: Cork, Ireland

On Sunday, we keep a Sabbath rhythm—unhurried and restful—in the company of Sr. Margaret. Morning Mass in Cork (location TBA), followed by our 11:00 am tour of Nano Nagle Place, where we learn how Nano Nagle’s mission and the Presentation Sisters’ history shaped Sr. Margaret’s vocation and sent her to bring the light of Christ to our community. The afternoon is at leisure for quiet walks, the English Market, or St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral; optional Choral Evensong at 3:30 pm. In the evening, we enjoy a festive dinner with Sr. Margaret. Dinner and overnight in Cork. (B.D)

Day 8: BLARNEY – ROCK OF CASHEL

Location: Rock of Cashel, St. Patricksrock, Cashel, County Tipperary, Ireland

Today we are off to Blarney Castle, where you may acquire the ‘gift of the gab’ by kissing the Blarney Stone. The Woollen Mills next door offer some great shopping for traditional Irish gifts. We continue our drive to the “Rock of Cashel”, dating from the 12th century, the ruins of Ireland’s most spectacular medieval romantic site. We celebrate Mass, have dinner, and then spend the night in the area. (B.D)

Day 9: DUBLIN

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Dublin, the name derives from “Dubh linn”, the Black Pool, which was in the heart of historic Dublin. Many know the city by its nickname, “The Fair City.” Our day starts with morning Mass at St. Mary Pro-Cathedral, followed by a panoramic bus tour of Dublin. The next stop is the Guinness Brewery, where you can sample the famous ale. In the afternoon, we visit the Teeling Whiskey Distillery, the first new distillery to open in Dublin in over 125 years. We learn the difference between Irish and Scottish Whiskey and enjoy a visit to the tasting room, where we sip Teeling’s small-batch, single-grain, and single-malt whiskey. Tonight we have a fun and festive farewell dinner with Irish music and dancing. Overnight in Dublin. (B.Special dinner)
