Day 1: DEPART FROM U.S.A

Depart on an overnight flight to Paris from Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. Dinner and breakfast will be served on the flight. As we work with group air, we are unable to request specific seats on the airplanes. If seat selection is important to you, please book your own flights and reserve the land-only option with us.

Day 2: PARIS – LISIEUX

Location : Lisieux, France

We arrive in Paris, France, where we are greeted by our English-speaking guide, who will be with us for the entire trip. We board our motorcoach for a two-hour bus ride to Lisieux. Following Mass, we settle into our hotel for an afternoon of rest. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Lisieux. (D)

Day 3: LISIEUX – NORMANDY BEACHES

Location : Normandy, France

Following a morning in Lisieux, where we have time to visit the places associated with the life of St. Therese, we drive through the beautiful French countryside toward the Normandy Beaches. The 54 miles of Atlantic stretching from Utah Beach in the west to Sword Beach in the east — are littered with WWII museums, monuments, cemeteries, and battle remains left in tribute to the courage of the British, Canadian, and American armies that successfully carried out the largest military operation in history: D-Day. On these serene beaches, at the crack of dawn on June 6, 1944, the Allies finally gained a foothold in France; from this moment, Nazi Europe was destined to crumble. We drive through beautiful Normandy scenery toward Omaha Beach, where we see the American Memorial and Cemetery. We celebrate Mass at the chapel at Omaha Beach and remember our brave, fallen soldiers. Return to Lisieux for dinner and overnight. (B.D)

Day 4: ROUEN – PARIS

Location : Rouen, France

After breakfast, we drive to Rouen, the city of St. Joan of Arc, to celebrate Mass at the Church of St. Joan, built on the site where she was burned at the stake. We walk through the beautiful town to the Cathedral of Our Lady, where we see the trail of St. Joan depicted at the Museum. Following lunch, we drive to Paris. Dinner is at leisure, and you can explore Paris on your own. Overnight in Paris. (B)

Day 5: PARIS – SEINE RIVER CRUISE

Location : Paris, France

We visit the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, where we see the incorrupt body of the Saint and celebrate Mass. Our city tour includes the highlights of Paris and a photo stop at the Eiffel Tower. Following a quick lunch stop, we visit the newly rebuilt Notre Dame Cathedral (TBC), Paris’ most beloved church, for a guided tour. Our day concludes at the magnificent Sacre Coeur (Sacred Heart Basilica). Tonight, enjoy a dinner cruise on the Seine River when we see fireworks above the Eiffel Tower and see the illuminated grandeur of Paris from the river. Overnight in Paris. (B. Special dinner)

Day 6: PARIS – LOURDES

Location : Lourdes, France

This morning, we celebrate Mass at the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal before taking the TGV train to Lourdes (NO PORTRAGE SERVICE AT THE TRAIN STATION). Upon arrival in Lourdes, we are transferred to our hotel. Following dinner, we join pilgrims from all over the world for the Candlelight Procession. Overnight in Lourdes. (B.D)

Days 7 and 8: LOURDES

Location : Lourdes, France

We have two full days in Lourdes to celebrate Mass, visit the Basilica, the Grotto where Our Lady appeared to Bernadette, drink water from the miraculous spring that has healed many, and visit the healing baths. Our group will have the opportunity to see Boly Mill, the birthplace of St. Bernadette, and the “Cachot,” an abandoned prison where Bernadette’s impoverished family lived, pray the Stations of the Cross, and attend Blessing of the Sick in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes. (B.D)

Day 9: LOURDES – AVILA

Location : Ávila‎, Spain

We depart this morning for a long drive to Avila, the magnificent walled city dedicated to St. Teresa of Avila. Here, the atmosphere has changed very little since the days of St. Teresa, to whom the city is dedicated. St. Theresa, the great mystic, was the first woman named Doctor of the Church. We will visit: the crypt of La Santa Convent, built on the site of the house where she was born; La Encarnacion Convent, where St. Teresa became a nun and home to the most comprehensive museum dedicated to her life; the Cathedral and the Cuatro Postes (four columns) which marks the place where Santa Teresa and her brother were caught by their uncle as they tried to run away from home (they were hoping to achieve martyrdom at the hands of the Muslims). The best views are at night. Mass will be celebrated. Dinner and overnight in Avila. (B.D)

Day 10: AVILA – FATIMA

Location : Fátima, Portugal

Today, we have another long drive following our morning in Avila, where we celebrate Mass. In the mid-afternoon, we journey through Spain toward Portugal. Late in the afternoon, we arrive in Fatima, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in the world. It is well-known for the story of the apparition of Our Lady to three shepherd children in 1917. Overnight in Fatima. (B.D)

Day 11: FATIMA

Location : Fátima, Portugal

We start the day with Mass at the Basilica. We stop at the parish church where the visionaries were baptized and other places associated with their young lives. We visit the cemetery and their homes in Aljustrel. We travel to Valinhos and visit places where the Angel appeared: The Shrine where the Holy Virgin appeared in August, the outdoor Stations of the Cross erected by the Americans, and the beautiful Shrine of the Crucifixion built on the highest point by Hungarian refugees. Tonight, we participate in the Candlelight and Blessed Sacrament Procession. Dinner and overnight in Fatima. (B.D)

Day 12: SANTARÉM - LISBON

Location : Lisbon, Portugal

Following breakfast, we depart for Santarem to venerate the Miracle of the Eucharist. We continue to the capital of Portugal, and one of the most beautiful and historic European cities. Located on the River Tagus, Lisbon is full of life, color, and fascinating places. We see Belem Tower, the longest bridge in Europe, and the impressive 300-foot-high statue of Christ the King. We continue to see the magnificent Church of St. Anthony, where we celebrate Mass. The feast day June 13 of St. Anthony of Padua will be celebrated. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner accompanied by wine in a local restaurant. Overnight in Lisbon. (B. Special dinner)

Day 13: RETURN TO USA

Location : USA

After breakfast, we are transferred to Lisbon Airport for our flight home. Lunch and a snack will be served on the plane. (B)
