Day 1: ARRIVAL IN MEXICO CITY

Location : USA

Depart JFK airport to arrive at Mexico City International Airport and gather at a designated meeting place in the airport. Select International can assist you with your flights once you register for this trip. A group transfer from the airport to the hotel in the afternoon will be provided. You may also take a taxi to the hotel in Mexico City for check-in and a welcome orientation meeting where we meet our fellow pilgrims. Mass will be celebrated at the hotel in the late afternoon or early evening. We gather for a welcome drink before dinner. Overnight in Mexico City. (Welcome get-together plus dinner at the hotel)

Day 2: CHURCH OF SAN JOSÉ DEL ALTILLO – BLESSED CONCHITA CABRERA – CHURCH OF SANTIAGO TLATELOLCO

Location : Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico

Following breakfast, our first stop is a visit to the Church of San José del Altillo to see the crypt where Blessed Conchita Cabrera is buried and to Celebrate Mass. Blessed Conchita was beatified at the Guadalupe Basilica and is the first Mexican laywoman to receive beatification. We are met by a local priest who gives us a short presentation about Blessed Conchita’s life. Time for prayer will be included. Continue to the Church of Santiago Tlatelolco, where St. Juan Diego was baptized. We visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, have free time for lunch, and shop in the old town. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Mexico City. (B)

Day 3: FEAST OF OUR LADY of GUADALUPE – OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE BASILICA SHRINE

Location : Our Lady of Guadalupe Basilica, Fray Juan de Zumárraga, Villa Gustavo A. Madero, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart to Celebrate Mass at a local church Sagrado Corazon followed by festivities of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Upon arrival at the Shrine, we have time to kneel in front of the Tilma, where Our Lady’s image was miraculously imprinted, and visit the El Pocito (Chapel of the Little Well) and the original apparition site. Explore the grounds of the Shrine, including the Museum, Tepeyac Hill, Capilla del Cerrito, Tepeyac Garden, and Chapel of the Indians. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. (B.D)

Day 4: BLESSED MIGUEL PRO AND THE CHURCH OF SAGRADA FAMILIA - FLOATING GARDENS

Location : Floating Gardens of Xochimilco, Laguna del Toro, San Juan, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico

Our day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Church of Sagrada Familia (the Holy Family) to see the tomb of Fr. Miguel Agustin Pro, the Jesuit Martyr, where we celebrate Mass. After lunch, enjoy a festive boat ride with Mexican music amidst the floating gardens. Dinner is at leisure. Overnight Mexico City. (B. Day 5: OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE AND THE PYRAMIDS OF THE SUN AND THE MOON

Location : Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico

This morning we enjoy breakfast at the hotel. We visit Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, where we celebrate Mass and have time to explore on our own. In the afternoon, we depart for San Juan Teotihuacan, where we have lunch, followed by a guided tour of the Archaeological site of the Pyramid of the Sun and the Moon. We also stop for a Tequila tasting because what would a Mexico trip be without a taste of the local liquid? Overnight at our hotel in Mexico City. Our farewell dinner with Mariachi music at a local restaurant. Overnight Mexico City. (B. Special Lunch. Special dinner)

Day 6: RETURN TO THE USA

Location : USA

Following breakfast, we check out of the hotel, say goodbye to our newfound friends, and board the bus, which departs the hotel based on the majority of the flight departure times to transfer us to the airport, or you may take a taxi on your own in time for your flight departure. (B)
