Day 2: ARRIVAL IN SARAJEVO

Location : Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Arrival in Sarajevo airport where we are welcomed by our driver and tour guide. We board our bus and start the city tour, followed by a private Mass at a local church. The guided tour of the capital of Bosnia Herzegovina includes the old town of Sarajevo, the City Hall, the Latin Bridge, the Cathedral of Sacred Jesus Heart and the Eternal Flame. Welcome dinner is in a local restaurant. Overnight at a hotel in Sarajevo. (D)

Day 3: SARAJEVO – MOSTAR – MEDJUGORJE

Location : Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina

This morning we check out from hotel and we depart to Medjugorje via Mostar where wepause to celebrate Mass in the Franciscan Church of St. Peter and Paul. We walk to the old town to enjoy time at leisure and to admire the spectacular view from the Old Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We have lunch in a local restaurant, before we continue toMedjugorje. Upon arrival in Medjugorje we settle into our comfortable hotel. Dinner and an overnight at the hotel in Medjugorje. (B,L,D)

Day 4 to 9: MEDJUGORJE PROGRAM

Location : Međugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Breakfast and dinner will be served at your hotel in Medjugorje. Breakfast and dinner are included daily. We celebrate the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, on Sept. 14.
Some of the activities while on pilgrimage in Medjugorje will be Daily English Mass at 10:00 AM at St. James Church
Climbing the Apparition Hill where the visionaries first encountered Our Lady. At the base of this hill is a Blue Cross where Our Lady appeared to the children while they hid from the communist police in the early days of the apparitions
Pray the Stations of the Cross while climbing Mt. Krizevac (Cross Mountain) built by the villagers in 1933
Apparitions: Each evening at 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM (depending on daylight savings time), your group will join the villagers and fellow pilgrims in praying the Rosary, as all await the arrival of Our Lady to the visionaries at 5:40 PM (6:40 PM during Daylight Savings Time).
Afterwards, you can stay at St. James Church and attend the Croatian Mass. Following the Croatian Mass, there is a Blessing of the Sick.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesdays and Saturdays; Veneration of the Cross on Fridays inside the church. There is also an Adoration Chapel on the grounds of St. James Church, where Adoration is held in the afternoon hours. Eucharistic Adoration is one of the most memorable experiences in Medjugorje. Meetings with the Visionaries who are in Medjugorje at the time.
Visit to the Community of Cenacolo, founded by Sr. Elvira Petrozzi, for young men and women who have taken the wrong path and are on the road to recovery through the inter-cession of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Praying at the Statue of the Risen Christ from which droplets of water seep out of Christ’s right knee.
Visit Tihaljina’s Immaculate Conception Parish Church, which contains the Our Lady of Grace statue and where we can have a private Mass for our group.

Day 10: MEDJUGORJE – WINE TASTING- DUBROVNIK

Location : Dubrovnik, Croatia

Following a wonderful week in Medjugorje, we check out of our hotel and drive towards Du-brovnik over the newly constructed bridge ‘Peljesac’. We pause here for a short break and to admire a spectacular view before we reach the famous Peljesac winery Matursko, for a wine tasting accompanied by locally made cheese and Dalmatian prosciutto. We continue to the Old Town of Dubrovnik to celebrate Mass and have time at leisure to explore the city on your own. Dinner and an overnight stay are at a hotel in Dubrovnik Area. (B,D)
