Day 1: Depart USA

Location : USA

Depart Houston on a flight to Mexico City. Upon arrival, we are greeted by our tour escort who will be with us during the entire time in Mexico City. We stop for Mass before we arrive the hotel in the center of Mexico City. Our hotel in a prime location surrounded with shops, markets, and restaurants. Overnight Mexico City. (Dinner is at the hotel)

Day 2: Mexico City - Our Lady of Guadalupe

Location : Mexico City, Mexico

Following our breakfast buffet at the hotel, which is included each day, we visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness of the Americas. We have time to explore the Guadalupe Shrine, the Church of the Hill, the Church of the Well, the Monument of the Offerings, and the Church of the Indians. After lunch, we visit the Religious Museum and pray the Rosary at the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. Mass is celebrated at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception of Salto de Agua. Day 3: Blessed Miguel Pro and the Church of Sagrada Familia

Location : Mexico City, Mexico

Our day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Church of Sagrada Familia (the Holy Family) where we celebrate Mass and to see the tomb of Fr. Miguel Agustin Pro, the Jesuit Martyr. We see the small museum dedicated to Blessed Miguel Pro. In the afternoon we visit the Xoxhimilco floating gardens, where we enjoy a wonderful boat ride accompanied by music and dancing. Overnight in Mexico City. (B.D.)

Day 4: Church of the Fifth Apparition (Santa Maria Tulpetlac - Juan Bernadino) and Church of San Jose Del Altillo - Blessed Conchita Cabrera

Location : Chapel of San José del Altillo, Avenida Universidad, Santa Catarina, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico

Following breakfast, we visit the Church of the Fifth Apparition (Santa Maria Tulpetlac), where we celebrate Mass. After lunch, we continue to the Church of San José del Altillo to see the crypt where Blessed Conchita Cabrera is buried. Blessed Conchita was beatified at the Guadalupe Basilica, and she is the first Mexican laywoman to receive beatification. We are met by a local priest who gives us a short presentation about Blessed Conchita’s life. Time for prayer will be included. The rest of the day and dinner is at leisure. Overnight Mexico City. Day 5: Highlights of Mexico City - Visit to the Convent

Location : Convento de las Hermanas del Verbo Encarnado, Avenida San Fernando, Toriello Guerra, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico

Following breakfast we drive to the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral, and see the National Palace, the seat of the Mexican government. We stop at the churches in the Central Square including Our Lady of the Rosary before we drive out to Convento de las Hermanas del Verbo Encarnado where we meet Sr. Gloria Cordova Estrada, celebrate Mass and enjoy lunch. Dinner is at leisure. Overnight in Mexico City. (B.L.)

Day 6: Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon

Location : Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico

This morning, we enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe. Our first stop of the day is the Church of Santiago Tlatelolco, where St. Juan Diego was baptized. Upon arrival at the Shrine, we visit the beautiful basilica, have time to kneel in front of the Tilma, where Our Lady’s image was miraculously imprinted, visit the El Pocito (Chapel of the Little Well) and the site of the original apparition. We celebrate Mass and have time to explore the Gardens on our own. In the afternoon, we depart for San Juan Teotihuacan, where we have lunch, followed by a guided tour of the Archaeological site of the Pyramid of the Sun and the Moon. Enjoy shopping and tequila tasting before returning to our hotel. We enjoy our farewell dinner accompanied by the sounds of Mariachi Music. Overnight Mexico City. (B.L D.)
