Day 1: ARRIVAL IN MEXICO CITY

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

Depart from your hometown airport to Mexico City International Airport. A group transfer will be arranged with your guide for 3:30 PM in the arrivals hall of Terminal 2, located by the Carl’s Jr restaurant. Alternatively, you may take a taxi to the hotel in Mexico City for check-in. Mass will be celebrated at the hotel in the early evening. Dinner will be served at the hotel. (D)

Day 2: TEPEYAC HILL – METROPOLITAN CATHEDRAL

Location: Our Lady of Guadalupe Basilica, Fray Juan de Zumárraga, Villa Gustavo A. Madero, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico

Following an early breakfast at the hotel, which is included each morning, we depart for our first visit to the Shrine complex, where we visit Tepeyac Hill and the Basilica Museum. We then head to downtown Mexico City, where we visit the Metropolitan Cathedral to celebrate Mass and see the tomb of Bishop Zumarraga in the Crypt. We have lunch in the historical center of Mexico City and then walk over to the Church of Nuestra Señora de Lourdes. We have the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure. Dinner is at leisure. Overnight in Mexico City. (B.L)

Day 3: EL POCITO – THE GARDENS ON TEPEYAC HILL – CHURCH OF SAGRADA FAMILIA (MIGUEL PRO)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

This morning, after breakfast, we have our formation from Fr. Tim to set the tone for the day. Following our talk, we depart for the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, where we celebrate Mass at St. Joseph Chapel (TBC) within the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Following Mass, we stay on the basilica grounds to explore El Pocito Chapel and the surrounding gardens. We then visit the Church of Sagrada Familia and the Museum of Fr. Pro, a martyr of the Cristero War, where the Church was greatly persecuted. The rest of the day and dinner are at leisure. Overnight in Mexico City. OPTIONAL: Gather at the bottom of Tepeyac Hill at sunset (7 p.m.) and do a rosary walk to the summit. (B.L)

Day 4: CHURCH OF THE FIFTH APPARITION – CHURCH OF SAN JOSÉ DEL ALTILLO - BLESSED CONCHITA CABRERA

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

We visit the Church of the Fifth Apparition (Santa Maria Tulpetlac Church), where we celebrate Mass. Following Mass, we have time for prayer before we break for lunch. After lunch, we then travel to the Church of San José del Altillo to see the crypt where Blessed Conchita Cabrera is buried. Blessed Conchita was beatified at the Guadalupe Basilica and is the first Mexican laywoman to receive beatification. Here, we have a special talk by Jason Clark. The rest of the day and dinner are at leisure. Overnight in Mexico City. (B)

Day 5: OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE BASILICA SHRINE

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

We depart for Our Lady of Guadalupe Basilica Shrine, where we celebrate Mass in the Chapel of the Indians. Following Mass, we visit the Tilma. We have lunch at Lepanto Restaurant. Following lunch, we spend the afternoon at the shrine for continued exploration of the basilica grounds and personal prayer. Return to the hotel and refresh before our farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Mexico City. (B.L. Special dinner)

Day 6: RETURN TO USA

Location: USA

Early this morning, we celebrate Mass at the hotel before our 9:00 AM transfer to the airport. Alternatively, you may take a taxi on your own to depart for your flight. (B)
