Day 1: Depart USA

Location : USA

We gather at Dallas International Airport for a flight to Mexico City. Add-on rates are available from most major cities upon request. Upon arrival we are greeted by our tour escort and transferred to our hotel located in the historical area of the city, an active area filled with shops, markets and restaurants. We gather at the hotel and celebrate Mass, followed by a welcome drink and dinner and overnight in Mexico City. (Welcome drink and dinner at the hotel)

Day 2: Mexico City - OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE and THE PYRAMIDS OF THE SUN AND THE MOON

Location : Mexico City, Mexico

This morning, we enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe. Our first stop of the day is the Church of Santiago Tlatelolco, where St. Juan Diego was baptized. Upon arrival at the Shrine, we visit the beautiful basilica, have time to kneel in front of the Tilma, where Our Lady’s image was miraculously imprinted, visit the El Pocito (Chapel of the Little Well) and the site of the original apparition. We celebrate Mass and have time to explore the Gardens on our own. In the afternoon, we depart for San Juan Teotihuacan, where we have lunch on our own, followed by a guided tour of the Archaeological site of the Pyramid of the Sun and the Moon. Enjoy shopping and tequila tasting before returning to our hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight Mexico City. (B.D.)

Day 3: Frida Kahlo - Floating Gardens - St. John Paul II

Location : Frida Kahlo Museum, Londres, Del Carmen, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. We visit the Museum of Mexican Artist Frida Kahlo located in the Colonia del Carmen neighborhood of Coyoacan in Mexico City. The Museum is also known as a Blue House. Visit the Church of St. John Paul II where we celebrate Mass. After some time at leisure to explore on our we visit the floating gardens, where we enjoy a wonderful boat ride accompanied by music and dancing. Dinner tonight is at the hotel. Overnight in Mexico City. (B. D)

Day 4: Blessed Miguel Pro and the Church of Sagrada Familia

Location : Mexico City, Mexico

Our day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Church of Sagrada Familia (the Holy Family) for Mass and to see the tomb of Fr. Miguel Agustin Pro, the Jesuit Martyr. We see the small museum dedicated to Blessed Miguel Pro before driving to the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral. In the afternoon visit the Church of the Fifth Apparition (Santa Maria Tulpetlac), we continue to the Church of San José del Altillo to see the crypt where Blessed Conchita Cabrera is buried. Blessed Conchita was beatified at the Guadalupe Basilica, and she is the first Mexican laywoman to receive beatification. We are met by a local priest who gives us a short presentation about Blessed Conchita’s life. Tonight we have our farewell dinner at Garibaldi Plaza with Mariachi band. Overnight in Mexico City. Day 5: Our Lady of Guadalupe - Return to USA

Following breakfast, we check out of the hotel, and visit Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine for morning Mass before we are transferred to the airport for our flight home. (B)
