Day 2: Rome

Location : Rome, Metropolitan City of Rome, Italy

We arrive in Rome, to meet our English-speaking guides and transfer to St. Paul Outside the Walls for a visit. Time permitting we visit Tre Fontane Convent to see where St. Paul was beheaded. Mass will be celebrated. Check into the hotel for dinner and overnight in Rome. (D.)

Day 3: Christian Rome

Location : Rome, Italy

Following breakfast, we visit St. Mary Major, St. John the Lateran, and the Holy Stairs next door. The rest of the day is at leisure in Rome to explore on our own or visit a museum. Optional: excursion to visit the Catacombs where we celebrate Mass. *$79 per person. Dinner and overnight in Rome. (B.D.)

Day 4: Treasures of the Vatican

Location : Rome, Italy

This morning we visit St. Peter’s Basilica to celebrate Mass and have a guided tour with headphones followed by a visit to the Vatican Museum including the Sistine Chapel. In the afternoon we have a walking tour of Rome including the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navone. Dinner and overnight in Rome. (B.D)
